Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Glue Pot @ The Oyster Inn
Bar, restaurant and accommodation in the centre of Connel. The premises overlook the Connel Bridge over Loch Etive, taking motorists north towards Fort William.
There are a couple of entrance doors at the front of the building. I chose the one on the right, which led into a reception area with its own bar. Off to the right was an unused formal dining area. However, I was soon pointed to the left of the building and towards the other entrance door leading into the bar proper.
The central bar dominates proceedings. However, with no cask ale, you're limited to keg options here - Innis & Gunn Session OPA, Guinness, Strongbow, Orchard Pig Reveller, Tenenet's Lager & Caledonia Best, Menabrea & Inveralmond Ossian. TVs were on, but nobody was watching them. In fact, everybody except me, was in for lunch. Staff were friendly.
