This Toby Carvery is stand-alone with plenty of parking and surprisingly an arrow on the wall pointing the way to the ‘pub’! The interior is U-shaped with a bar area across the front that is faced by the serving counter, dining seating up the right and seating across the rear wall opposite the carvery. The service was polite, but the back music was generic and the atmosphere was sterile, but then this is a Toby Carvery so what was I expecting.

Popped back in again as was passing. An ale on this time over the three pumps, a pretty decent Bombardier for £1.45 a half. Dog leg interior, kitted out in the usual Toby style. Front of the place is a bit more drinker-friendly than usual (catches the afternoon sun as well), with the main dining action happening in a room at the rear. The nicest area by the fireplace was more of a dumping ground for spare seating. Modern chart music competing with Sky News on the big screen. Does what it does.
