Brainy Pool left this review about Harrys Bar
I used to like the earthy charms of this place, but then the real ale disappeared and it gradually became plain rough. Not one for the faint hearted and frankly feels a bit down at heel now, but still an authentic working class boozer. Continues to host the prestigious world pie eating championship.

Strongers . left this review about Harrys Bar
Harry’s Bar in the old Clarence Hotel is a long thin pub with a bar that runs up the right wall to a pool table at the rear. To the left of the entrance is some raised seating and a small room with seating is found to the right. Televisions are located throughout, Sky Sports Racing Channel was muted whilst some background music played. Live entertainment is heavily advertised. The service was polite, but only standard keg available.

Still most obviously labelled the Clarence Hotel apart from one sign saying Harrys Bar. Inside it is a slightly run down boozer, apparently populated by slightly run down boozers. The ale front appears to have improved though, with Cask Marque qualification and some interesting beers from Naylors and Pennine at time of visit.

ROB Camra left this review about Harrys Bar
The former Clarence Hotel is now called Harrys Bar, although the signage high above the entrance still says it is the Clarence. It's now mainly a sports bar with loads of TVs, there's also a pool table. The decor is very red, although it's quite atmospheric. It's owned by the same small pub group that owns Fifteens & Little Fifteen. Three handpumps on the bar all from Wily Fox and my half was warm and badly conditioned. We have Wily Fox on at my local sometimes and it's much better than this. The barman didn't understand what I was asking for when I ordered it either. Yet another pub from the Fifteens group serving crap beer. They really need someone to show them how to look after it. Not impressed.

Al Bundy left this review about Harrys Cafe Bar
Though the name Harry's Cafe Bar doesn't inspire this place is a very traditional pub. Formerly the Clarence Hotel the interior is very traditional with, though its mostly open plan, a few distinct areas to drink in. A long deep interior has several slightly raised areas to drink in. 3 handpumps on the bar directly in front of you as you enter consisting of, today a beer from Martland Mill, a Bank Top beer and one called Cloghopper. I seem to recall visiting this place a while ago.
