A large backstreet pub, maybe originally two buildings, looking at the disparate windows, but opened out internally into one large space, with the bar against the back wall. This is the brewery tap for the onsite microbrewery of the same name. There were three of their own beers on the bar, and I tried all three and enjoyed them: Clod Hopper, Boot Bitter and IPA. (The other beers were from Littleover and from the former Heritage brewery at the brewing museum in Burton, now closed.) This pub is a pleasant walk across the bridge from Willington station, if the trains suit, or by bus V3 from Derby to Burton, which stops in the village approximately hourly.

The Boot Inn is a nice looking white painted pub that is at the bottom of boot hill.
Once inside the pub had an olde world feel to it with a few different rooms on different levels, the pub still had its Bass lanterns and Bass Worthington signs outside but there were no Bass beers on the bar.
There were two real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Pedigree which was a decent drink, the other beer was Jennings Cumberland.
The pub was fairly quiet on our early Saturday dinner visit.
