David Ross left this review about Highlander Cafe Bar
Although part of the Gordon Arms Hotel and connected to it by a staff only corridor, this is very much a separate entity as one of the town pubs. It is a sizeable lounge style bar with two large screen TVs, a juke box, a pool table and games machines. It is probably aimed at the more youthful end of the population, but wasn't particularly busy on either the Thursday or Friday night I visited. The all day coffee shop offers a full meal service from noon until 1.45 and 5.00 to 8.30 p.m. On draught are Guinness (at £3.40 a pint), Belhaven Best, John Smith's, Tennent's and Highlander lagers and Strongbow cider. One hand pump dispenses Bottlenose Bitter from Speyside Croft Brewery and Stowell's wines are also on tap.

This is now the Highlander Cafe Bar, under which name I will review it separately.
