David Ross left this review about Burns Tavern
The public bar here is reputedly the oldest pub in Motherwell and, while not exactly ancient, it looks the part, at least in comparison to the others. The bar is a good size, with comfortable seating around the walls and there is a separate lounge next door, which was closed at the time of my visit. McEwans/Youngers beers predominate, although Tennents and Fosters lagers and Guinness are also available on draught. Some of the beers are on special offer at £2.60 a pint on weekdays. The walls are decorated with pictures of Robert Burns and other national bard associated items. A DJ and Karaoke sessions provide the entertainment on weekend evenings.
