This is a huge place over 3 storeys. The main floor is typical Potting Shed décor i.e. plants and gardening paraphernalia, however it's not all over this floor as there's a stage and there was a guitarist playing very bland stuff on a Friday afternoon at about 6. Firepit downstairs has a pool table, DJ rig and a huge TV screen. Upstairs was also closed on my visit although I did manage to negotiate all the steps without falling up or down any. :-)) Two handpumps on the bar, only one on serving Mansfield Bitter, which is a very bland beer from a non existent brewery at £1.50 for a half. Overall it's just bland throughout.

The Firepit is situated directly below the Potting Shed and is one large room with lots of high tables and chairs, large TV screens and numerous beer taps. The place can be entered either from the steps down from the Potting Shed or one of two entrances on the street below. Word of warning if you enter from the street on the right hand smaller entrance be careful of the step half way down it cost me 4 hours in Royal Blackburn hospital yesterday.

After a 5 month delay the Potting Shed has finally opened last week and is certainly a large place that towers over the Wetherspoons next door.
On the ground floor is the large bar plus a miscellany of gardening utensils in true Botanist and Potting Shed style, and on the upper floor is a bar with a rooftop garden. Downstairs in the basement is The Firepit which is a smokehouse and Sports bar type of place.
Called in around 2 30pm om a Wednesday and was quite impressed with the conversion although i did not go in the Firepit or the upper floor. There was 3 isolated cask beer pumps all about 6 ft apart and i think only 2 of these were in operation.
