Alan Winfield left this review about Wheatsheaf Inn
The Wheatsheaf is a decent looking pub that is almost opposite the Nags Head.
Once inside there was a decent sized oblong shaped lounge to the front, this room looked smart enough,it was carpeted and had comfy bench seating around the edge of the room with small stools.
There was a seperate bar to the rear right which also looked quite nice, there was a pool table in the middle and a darts board, the bench seating was similar to that in the lounge and ran around the edge of the room.
There was one real ale on the bar, this was Banks's bitter which was a decent drink.
The lounge was fairly busy with what looked like older rockers on my Saturday dinner visit,i was'nt that struck having to listen to Roy Orbison on the sound system though.
This is a pleasant enough pub to have a drink in.
