Alan Winfield left this review about St Helens Inn

The St Helens Inn is a stand alone pub that is situated on the busy shefield road.
Once inside this pub seemed pretty much unaltered, there were three seperate rooms off a drinking corridor, there were two rooms either side of the entrance, these had comfy bench seating and small stools, the room to the rear had a pool table in the middle of it.
There was one real ale on the bar along with two real Ciders,i had a drink of Two Roses Blonde which was a very nice light bitter.
There was a TV showing Sky Sports football score updates.
The pub was very busy with a good mixed bunch and a great livley atmosphere.
I quite liked this pub.
