Real Ale Ray left this review about The Red Lion

An attractive looking pub with a traditional interior. There was a small low slung bar on the right of entrance, low ceilings and carpeted throughout. There was a front room on the left with a stone fireplace, where the locals had congregated to watch the horse racing on the TV and a pool table at the rear as you walk out to the patio area. No cask ales to be seen anywhere, apart from one cider on handpump.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Red Lion

Solid-looking village local; comprising a main bar, side dining room and a large pool / function room to the rear. Traditional furniture and decor. Entertainment seven nights a week. As a Marstons pub, Pedigree, Ringwood Best and Hobgoblin (£2.74) were available from the three handpumps. Perhaps I caught it on a bad day, but a few of the other customers left something to be desired so not quite as inviting as it first appeared.
