The Old Brewery is now a Belhaven run pub and was the former Maclays Thistle Brewery, which dates back to the 19th century. This former brewery shows its past history, which is, reflected in the displays of old bottles behind the bar and in wall cabinets, as well as in architectural features such as the high sloping ceiling. There are great prices on drinks with Belhaven Best at £2.29, Carling £1.99, bottle of Miller, £2.29 and Smirnoff and a dash at £2.49. Plus there are choices of low and non-alcoholic range such as Kopparberg and Beck’s. There are also great deals on meals with two steaks and a bottle of wine for £19.99 and sharing platter with a bottle of wine for £14.99 these are also available with 4-pint pitcher of beer and 2 meals daily for £9.99. The pub is open Sun to Thurs, 11am to 11pm, Fri to Sat, 11am to 2am and Thurs is open until 12am when there is a quiz on. Check out http://www.oldbrewery-alloa.co.uk/ for further offers.
