ORIGINAL REVIEW July 2016.
A very pleasing Georgian street corner exterior, this is an upmarket Wine Bar & Restaurant and should never be mistaken for a pub.The interior splits into a wine bar at the front with bar stools and some unreserved seating, while further back is a restaurant, long featured in the Good Food Guide with high quality cooking at prices to match. You can easily burn through at least £50 per person, but the dining experience and service is professional and very good.
The wine bar features a high quality wine list ,many by the glass, cocktails and a few bottled beers with 500cl Purity Mad Goose the best option. No draught.Bar meals available throughout the lunchtime and evening food services times.
Although very close to Victoria Coach Station,if you were to dive in here for a refreshing pint after your journey, you might question why it's listed on this site, but at least you can just pop in for something to drink and a place to read the paper.

UPDATE
A change of name and a change of offering, there are drinking tables outside, while the first section inside is a lounge affair with a mix of small tables around the front window, high tables and chairs and a drinking shelf with stools. The bar sports a single handpump with Wye Valley Butty Bach on my trip (NBSS 4,served in dimple mug ) together with standard keg options.Good looking bar snacks are served here, some visible on the bar top starting around £6 and rising quite high.Beyond the bar is the restaurant and the menu looked upmarket with interesting cuts of meat and not ludicrously expensive.
Now more pub like, friendly service but it's pricey with many punters still focussing on the wine by the glass list.

A pleasant wine bar and bistro in the back streets near Victoria, a welcome break from the Taylor Walker genre. The clientele are mostly locals (ie those that live in Belgravia), so prices are high, and there is no real ale. A good place to come for a pleasant shared meal, and it has a nice local feel to it, but I wouldn't include in a crawl due to the lack of good beer.

The Ebury Wine Bar and Restaurant was just opening as I approached yesterday (Thursday) at midday. I must admit that I thought better of staying after I popped my head in the door and saw the pristine brilliant white table clothes with cutlery that had been meticulously set out by the uniformed waiters. I suppose that if I was asked to describe what I thought a wine bar and restaurant in Belgravia would look like I would imagine somewhere like this place.

Not rated as I did an about turn and I doubt very much that I’ll ever find myself in here again.
