Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Tramway Tavern
Quite an attractive terraced pub, with a refurbished L-shaped interior featuring a few tables in a small area by the front part of the bar, with further seating to the left and at the back. Four handpumps on each side of the counter: Everards Tiger (as this is a Project William pub), Castle Rock Harvest Pale, Bewdley's Worcestershire Way and Blonde Protagonist from Alter Ego facing the street; and a 'house' Terminus pale ale from Brampton Brewery (who run the place), along with their Best, Golden Bud and Mild. So far so good, but the chap serving wasn't at all welcoming and the place was quiet, leaving a rather depressing impression.

A proper pub, owned by the Brampton Brewery. Nothing fussy about it but some nice beers of their own plus guests. The sort of pub you would be happy to have as your local.

A good traditional drinkers pub this one with a friendly and welcoming barmaid. You can see that this is a well run pub as everything is spotlessly clean and the beer quality is sublime. Small features in here, was the green tiles along the bar front, plus coat hooks and the counter top was in oak. The handpulls were ceramic with the Brampton loco and a chrome base. Eight handpumps, four from the Bramptom Brewery and four guest, we went for the Brampton Golden Bud and the Brampton Captain Marsden.

This mid-terrace pub on the Chatsworth Road is tied to the local Brampton Brewery thanks to Everards’ Project William scheme that was also used to set up their first pub - the nearby Rose and Crown. The entrance takes you into a wooden floor, bare brick wall room with the servery on the right hand side. In front of the bar is a small seating space with just about enough room for a fireplace, whilst beyond the end of the bar counter there is another similarly sized seating section with a couple more tables. The left hand side of the pub has a carpeted, lounge bar feel to it and would almost certainly have been a separate room in days gone by. There is another, smaller fireplace in here as well as a good mix of seating including some rather nice looking leather banquettes under the front window. An old John Smith's pub sign hangs in the rear corner and suggests that the pub used to be called The Terminus. Music played quietly throughout my stay and I couldn't help but notice posters for Monday's pub quiz which explained that the winner would be given a gallon of ale.
Eight hand pumps were dispensing Brampton Impy Dark, Wasps Nest, Tudor Rose and Golden Bud, Everards Tiger, Sambrooks Junction, Townes Chesterfield IPA (£2.95) and Raw Blonde Pale Ale. The cheerful barmaid poured me a pint of the Chesterfield IPA which was in good condition, if not really to my taste. As Quinno notes in his review, this is more of a drinker’s pub than the Rose and Crown and I think I enjoyed my time in here more as a result.
Another fine pub for Brampton to showcase their beers and one which I would be more than happy to make a return to. Maybe I'll have a go at winning that quiz next time.

Another pub on the A619 but this one caught my eye by being Brampton Brewery branded and is just down from the Rose and Crown, their other outlet. This place has a similar redecoration policy inside, though this one feels more homely and seems to be more geared towards drinkers and there was a better drinking vibe. The refurb must have been done recently, you can smell the newness - my high backed winged chair smelt like it had just come off the factory floor. A good number of ales on the go, four Brampton Brewery plus Brew Co and Everards, with a real cider. My Brew Co was spot-on. The music in here was quite interestingly eclectic, which added a bit. Whilst only having time to stay for a swift one, this felt like a good session pub and I’d be happy to pop in here again. In fact, I think I preferred it to the ‘safer’ Brampton-run Rose & Crown.
