No cask. Keg offering of Guinness, Carlsberg, Fosters, K1664, original SB, Stella.

Irish bar on a parade of shops. Some seating out the front. Inside it is block wood flooring with the bar counter along the right-hand wall from the middle to rear with tall stool seating at the longer end of the bar counter. Banquette along the left-hand wall serving regular tables with regular chairs the other side thereof and a few regular tables and chairs in the front right-hand side ahead of the bar counter. There is a dart board in the front right-hand corner. Nicely gloomy with the single TV above the bar counter showing a movie. At the same time, a punk-based soundtrack playing. There is a rear paved beer garden up a few steps from the rear door and composed of several picnic benches on unkempt grassy area.

Well run local, good pint and not expensive.Irish landlady makes u a sandwich on the house if your hungry.Something that has disappeared in pub culture. All live irish and english football shown, and even though the landlady is a Chelsea supporter, she caters for all games, good pub with a friendly welcome.the manageress is certainly the main attraction.busy pub in the afternoon

Formerly Carries Bar now renamed The New Inn, presumably after Carrie left. Small friendly Irish bar of which there are a number on the Broadway. No real ale but a decent pint of Guinness as you’d expect.
