Now open again after a very smart refurbishment and although no cask i found the landlady pleasant and chatty and quite enjoyed my short time there before my bus was due.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Nags Head Hotel
Quite a large Thwaites pub, comprising a three-part bar with the main seating area to the left, some stools in the centre by the main counter, and a pool table plus a little more seating to the right. Refurbished, and brightly lit, so attractive enough in an unassuming way. One of the two handpumps was working, but this was dispensing Old Rosie cider so opted for a pint of keg Stones instead (£2.70).

This is a Thwaites tied house but there is no real ale on here only Thwaites smooth and Stones Bitter.
This pub has been knocked into one largish room which is not to bad to have a drink in there were a few other people having a drink early saturday dinner
