Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Seven Stars
Very basic local, seemingly having reverted to its previous name. One subdivided room in use, with the pool table at the front and a small bar at the back. The rear room is either a work in progress or a junkyard, but I'm not sure... Light wooden furniture, floorboards and wall panelling but little in the way of decoration. No real ale of course, so went for a Tetley's Smooth (£2.90) before moving on.

Soup Dragon left this review about Desi Star Inn
A cream terraced Banks' pub, that carries the names of the Desi Star and the Seven Stars
The interior is open plan and in yellow and mainly pine wood panel, like the bar itself. There is quite a bit of plant greenery inside. A part of the pub doesnt seem to be used, apart from having a punchbag machine. The main pub has a pool table and a TV, that wasnt on at first, then turned on for Gunfight at the OK coral with Kirk Douglas. Tis resulted in the radio, which was supplying the music being turned off. The service was fine, the clientele a couple of locals, just the one being drunk!
Beer; all tap stuff, with Spekky Hen on tap, as well as a decent enough Banks's MILD.
Sorry, nothing for real ale drinkers - so go to the Pretty Bricks around the corner

Former Seven Stars, I think it is still open but it may be a club.
