Previously Sweeney's, this former commercial premises in a row of shops is now a horrible sports bar with no atmosphere, no real ale and no charm. The bare floor and walls add echo, rather than character. The TV is far too loud, the staff are young and inexperienced, but pleasant enough despite that. There was a pool table being abused by prepubescent boys with a vocabulary of grunts and profanities. More like Room 101.
