Quite by accident, we found ourselves here on the first day of opening by the new landlords.
Bang on midday - but not the first in. A few teething problems with undelivered card readers but soon sorted out through trust and a mobile phone.
Large open plan main pub area - with long bar. Didnt spend too long inside as it might have been the first day of spring in the Midlands.
Sun shining and a couple of picnic tables on a gravel front patio to enjoy the sunshine.
HPA and London Pride on..... I guess they were both fresh on :-)

Friendly country pub , basically L shaped interior with a huge old fireplace at one end . Service was decent enough and the locals chatty .
Usual kegs and four handpulls , disapointingly only from the nationals , my pint of TT Landlord was fine .

Very pleasant unspoiled village local, friendly staff and locals. Average (but then again might have been having an off day) Hook Norton amongst other beers when we called. Well worth a visit if your passing this way.
