Went to go in here for the first time in a long while a couple of weeks ago and found it shut down.
Nice looking Grade II listed building, but unfortunately with a bit of a reputation for being a magnet for the Hoddesdon youth and there were quite a few instances where the locals complained to the local council and police about the noise coming from the pub, especially at the weekend.
A bit of web searching revealed that the pub was closed by Licencing officers just before christmas after a drugs raid. It was meant to go to a review hearing in feb, so the fact that it was still shut two weeks ago seems to infer that the review was not favourable.
