Strongers . left this review about Globe Bar
The Globe bar is the Chiswick Moran Hotel’s bar which is open to the general public and there is actually a loyalty card that is currently available to regulars who live or work in the area which entitles the holder to reduced rate drinks. Granted this reduced rate brings the prices down to pub level, but it is a well thought out piece of marketing. There are no hand pumps, but keg Pride is available along with various standard and premium draught products. The Guinness may sometimes be a little short, but it is always good and a quick word will see it topped up. I’ve eaten here a few times and although a little pricier than the average pub it is good quality.
It is a large space with a very long bar running the length of it with some normal and high tables and also some sofas thrown in. There are various screens dotted about that show anything from BBC News to goldfish screensavers and I’m not sure if Sky is available, but some sporting events are shown. There is also a thin decked are out the front that runs the length of the bar and has some four seat tables and chairs for outside eating and drinking. It is only separated from the very busy main road by some large potted plants and a slip road, but it is still pleasant enough.
The service is always very friendly and this is one of the few hotel bars that I have been to that I would recommend to others.
