Small bar area in this quite out of the way venue - no other pub or bar within three quarters of a mile. On two levels with the end away from the bar boarded and a handful of tables, one served via a corner banquette and another couple via a banquette against the wall furthest from the bar. Area up a couple of steps is carpeted with another handful of tables. Couple of TVs on the walls showing Olympics without commentary.

Wonderful array of cask ales – totally spoilt for choice. Only kidding! No cask here – not even fake hand pumps. What would you expect of a bar in a Harvester! Keg options were Brains smooth Bitter, Guinness, Stowford Press and three lagers – Peroni, Carling & Madri

Not the most inspiring location for sure but quite busy with punters presumably having a pre or post early dinner in the bar. Can’t say I have ever stayed in the adjoining Premier Inn and could only ever see myself doing if I was last minute looking for somewhere to stay for a game at the Millenium attended with mates (so in-law’s place in Lisvane deemed out of bounds for the group by my wife)!
