The Gardeners Inn is a decent looking pub with its lower half having green tiles, the pub is situated in the middle of Clay Cross.
Once inside there was a small bar to the right which was very basic with a tiled floor and bench seating around the edge of the room with small tables and 2 chairs, there was a TV to the rear right which was showing a fishing programme (ive never seen a fishing programme while drinking before),there was a small lounge to the left which was similar in style to the bar apart from the pool table to the rear.
There was a seperate room to the rear.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg bitter was John Smiths smooth crap which was a pretty poor drink.
This is a very basic pub that seems to appeal to a wide range of customers, it was very busy on my Saturday afternoon visit.
