Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Keppels Bar
This may be the bar within the Grand Hotel, but it does also operate as a general pub with its own entrance open to all. The interior furniture and decoration reflects its origins, but they try to source their beers and ciders locally, e.g. my Martello from HopFuzz (£6.75 with a packet of peanuts).

Apparently run by volunteers who live within The Grand. Nice selection of pale ales. More like a private club than a boozer. Filled up quickly with a relaxed crowd. Apparently hoping to restart food one day. Worth a visit for something a little different.

Keppels is the bar of the Grand Hotel, set overlooking pleasant gardens and Folkestone's Leas. Open 11am to 11pm.
