Well, I tried, purely in the interests of research. I was asked if I was with the band, I felt I should answer truthfully and it appears I was too early to enter this august establishment. All things considered, I think that's a good thing.

Strongers . left this review about Purple Turtle
I remember using this place in my clubbing days and it was ok, but nothing to write home about. Now it is more of a dark music venue with strange opening times and odd ball clientele.
Not my cup of tea, but each to their own.
