Just a small 'aside'.
This was opened in 1928 and replaced an older 'Red, White & Blue' which stood nearby, that had burnt down in 1906.
They don't rush things out here!

A detached white rendered pub with fake black beam exterior and a patio area.
The interior has a couple of rooms that form an L-shape to the serving bar. The decor of these rooms is brown and white walls, with white ceiling. The bar room is at the back, it has a pool table and dart board, as well as a TV that had the football on. There is a few sporting pictures on the walls and a few trophies in a cabinet for interest. The front room is the lounge. It has no pictures, but did have a nice Victorian looking grate, as well as a TV, also showng the footy. The service was friendly and there were a few locals in. The music was mixed and at a decent level.
Beer; tap stuff with Banks's MILD and bitter. Abbot was on the only handpull. I just had a shandy, which was fine.
A general pub really; happy i popped in to watch a bit of the match and relax with a drink. Not a lot for the real ale fan, but for those that like the pub games, sport and keg beer, it seemed fine to me.
