Soup Dragon left this review about The Laffin Few
A place, in plain brick, that has all the grace and charm of an electricity sub-station. Indeed, i thought i would have to tap the door and give a password to get in - fortunately, i didn't. Once inside i found a karaoke and music venue, looking a little tired, with walls of blue, grey and pink. There is a stage area to one side and a pool table and dart board too. The walls have a few pictures of musicians on them and there is a TV, which had some general programme on. The place does Indian food, but i didn't eat. There was no music, ironic considering what it is. The service was fine enough and there was nobody in. Beer; no real ale, just the usual tap stuff without even a MILD. I had a shandy. They clearly didn't aim this place to attract the likes of me, and they have succeeded brilliantly.
