A substantial pub with some nice architecture and decorative glass, but it's all gone a bit sporty with a dark blue and white colour scheme throughout and sports screens in all directions. There are a series of areas, presumably once rooms but now knocked through, arranged round a central servery with a pool room to the rear. I was pleased to find a handpump on the bar, until I discovered it was peddling the fake "brewery-conditioned" Wainwright keg nonsense. The actual keg range was fairly predictable, with Salt Alpacalypse the only brew of note.
