Oggwyn Great left this review about Lord Hill
Situated at the top of Ketley Bank in the older part of the area , licensed since at least 1826 it appears to be two cottages knocked into one , there are a few tables to the front and you enter through the long narrow conservatory that stretchs along the whole width of the pub , there are a few tables and chairs in the conservatory , there are two entrances to the pub from here . The room to the right has a small bar and leads to a small backroom , none of the furniture matchs whih adds a bit of character , the room to the left was not open on my visit but from memory is in a similar style .
Usual kegs with four handpulls , two with Courage Diretors and one with a very good Wye Valley HPA , servie was ok and the regulars a friendly bunch
Its deent enough in here

This pub is being refurbished at the moment. The workmen were actually on site working when I visited, so it would be unfair to comment on the décor although the small front room to the right as you enter looked to have been completed and looked pretty comfortable. There's a garden to the rear and a conservatory across the front of the pub. I could see four handpumps although I think there were more in the room to the left, but as that room was being worked on I couldn't get in to see. Two beers were on Banks's bitter and Wye Valley HPA. I had a pint of the HPA which was excellent. It looks promising in here.
