Soup Dragon left this review about The Vic
A detatched Victorian corner pub formerly the Victoria Inn. The pub is rather plain and is in white brick, with some black paintwork around the doors (rusticated) and the modern windows. The pub has a corner entrance (other doors showing the former room layout), with a blocked window above. The interior now has an L-shaped open plan room, which is in a myriad of colours; blue, red, coffee and some wood, with blue and black carpet tiles and turquoise ceiling. The perimeter seating is blue. At the top there is a pool table and at the other end, a dart board - although this area also seems to be used for storage. The service was friendly, indeed, the gaffer was playing dominoes with one of the regulars. There are no real pictures. There is a TV, showing news and the music was mixed, from the jukebox. Beer; no real ale, just the usual tap drinks with a decent enough M&B MILD. While being plain, the pub did have a friendly feel; but sadly, nothing for the real ale fan.
