The Bowling Green has a lounge bar to the right with banquettes down the left wall. These are broken up by small glass partitions along the length. There is a smaller seating area in the rear right on the way to the toilets. In the right side of the pub is a wooden floored public bar with an L-shaped bar counter and dartboard in the right rear corner. Televisions are located throughout for showing live football. Both bars have a bank of two handpumps that were both drawing Sharp’s Doom Bar and Weston’s Rosie’s Pig Cloudy Cider. A standard keg range is also available alongside Birra Moretti. The service was polite and the pub was comfortable.

A decent two roomed pub. Pictures of Wrexham FC adorn the bar and the pub has friendly staff. No real ale on sale on this visit but it is supposed to be available.

The Bowling Green is an urban main Road local opposite the Swan Inn. The long narrow public bar seemed to have a good friendly atmosphere. The pub has one handpump which which provided me with a well kept pint of Greene King IPA. The lounge bar looked comfortable but was quiet on this midweek evening.
