Good looking, yet rough-and-ready two-roomed high street boozer, likely named after Pharrell Williams, which was heaving on a Friday arvo. There are two high street entrances; the central one (Saloon Bar) takes you to the left-hand bar; the second entrance further to right takes you to a second bar (Lounge Bar) which had Sharp's Doom Bar and Atlantic Pale available (Atlantic NBSS 3 and £1.90 for a half). A King's of Leon album played at optimal sound and a variety of middle-aged gents congregated around the bar on either side. There's a beer garden and car park out back which catches the rays on a sunny day (you have to surrender your reg. no. if parking) a pool table in the left-hand bar was commandeered by children. Slap-bang opposite the Crown, and smoking patrons from both eyeball each other across the High Street during breaks from drinking.
