Strongers . left this review about The Spinning Jenny
The Sandpiper has reopened as the Spinning Jenny and it’s no longer a Wetherspoons, although the layout is exactly the same with a bar on the right wall, open plan seating and booths along the rear wall. The bar supports standard and premium keg as well as a couple of Beavertown lagers. The two handpumps on the bar are unused. Food is available, the burger is priced at £12.50. The television with rolling news has been removed, but there is a screen displaying departures and arrivals.

Strongers . left this review about The Sandpiper (JD Wetherspoon)
The Sandpiper is a landside Wetherspoons with eight handpumps and a standard and premium keg range. Muted BBC News and Sky were airing on the plasma screens to an empty pub during a recent Wednesday afternoon visit. The usual Spoon’s food menu is available.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Sandpiper (JD Wetherspoon)
Nondescript landside bar, tucked away in a corner and with an odd feel since the ceiling is so high over the main seating area. Just three of six handpumps were on when I popped in, but my pint of the-rather-alarmingly-named-just-before-a-flight Old Mortality 80/- from Strathaven (£3.15) was first class.
