Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Aqua Bar
Family pub right on the beach, with a part-patio / part-grassed front beer garden that must get absolutely rammed on the summer holidays. Simply furnished inside the rectangular bar, but plenty of space for those dining from the limited menu. The single handpump wasn't initially obvious as I was waiting in the early lunchtime queue, but this produced a reasonable pint of Long Man Best Bitter (£5.50).

Strongers . left this review about Pevensey Bay Aqua Club
I was in the area on Friday afternoon last week so I decided to actually visit the Aqua Club this time. It was great to find the membership signs removed and the main pub sign now refers to the Aqua Bar, although the club terminology is still used inside so, Admin, please don’t change the name!
This pub takes advantage of its location adjacent to the pebbled Pevensey beach by way of a picnic lined beer garden. This knee high picket fence lined area is a perfect spot for families, which is why it was busy with holidaymakers during my visit. As I entered the bar area I noted an A-board that advertised the weekly 20:00 Wednesday quiz, the 15:00 Sunday meat raffle and live music from 13:00 on Friday afternoons and on Saturday evenings. There was no music when I visited around 16:00 so either it wasn’t on or I missed it.
The interior of the pub consists of a small seating area to the right of the entrance and a bar that runs half way up the right hand wall. At the rear is some seating and I spotted a pool table, dartboard and a parrot like creature in a cage. There is also a television for the watching of Sky Sports, but this was off during my visit in favour of a local radio station that was being piped out of the speakers. Wifi is advertised.
The bar is stocked with standard keg and the two hand pumps were drawing Harvey’s Best and Sharp’s Doom Bar. Pub grub is available daily from midday until 15:00 and 18:00 until 20:00. All of the main dishes are priced under £10.
I found the service to be very friendly and I would use this pub if I lived locally.

I walked up to this club yesterday evening (Wednesday) and spotted that it is an angling and social club where holiday membership is available. The signage made me feel that I couldn’t walk in off the street uninvited and I’m not one for second guessing the admission rules of a club or pub. Maybe if non-members are welcome they should take the membership required signs down.

Came across it by chance walking along the beach, didn't have to be a member to pop in for a pint, nice people, good beer and terrific sea views.
