Not so much a bar, certainly not a pub, more a table in a corridor next to a room full of comfy chairs, into which expensive drinks are carried by a smart young barman. The setting is one of elegant decline, guarded by some rather unwelcoming hotel doormen, feeling like a set from Gormenghast. No real ale, in fact no draft beer at all, just a few bottles of Meantime which were, to be fair, kept at room temperature (by virtue of there being no fridge). I'd have a late drink if staying here, but I'm not sure I'd bother otherwise.
