I was a little apprehensive walking to the bar as the barman/governor looks like a hooligan (no insult intended). I was wrong to judge as he was very polite and accommodating. The pub has a pool table, dart board and a couple of plasma screens for showing Sky Sports. The pub sign outside also boasts of having a huge screen, but I did not see it so I'd imagine that it is in the large sparsely decorated back room. There is also a small paved drinking area out the back. I didn't spot any real ale, but there is Hoegarden and standard lager.
This isn't a great place, but I would go back here to watch a match if in the area.
