Demolition work has begun on the former Harvester, to make way for a care home.

Once again a 2 for 1 pub eatery after an attempt to go upmarket. Hopefully this will again become the popular place it was.The bar is souless with poor choice of beer.
Over priced for what it is.Big car park and easy access for wheelchairs

Let's face it, this isn't somewhere you're going to pop in to for a nice pint. There were no real ales on, the only thing that was even pretending to be a bitter was some sort of Tetley's extra cold concoction.
There's a very extensive menu, but rather oddly everything is a "2 for 1" deal, all day, every day. This is just as well as the Chicken Balti and Chicken and tomato pasta dish (although it came without any chicken...) weren't even worth the £4.50 we paid, never mind the "regular" price of £9.00. Presumably someone in marketing told them this works better than simply cutting the prices by 50%. But unfortunatley it also discriminates against anyone eating on their own, or even a group with an odd number of diners.
On the plus side, the place seemed tidy and well kept, and the staff were friendly enough. If you got kids there's a play area out the back, and you can even visit Eddy Fuzz in his fun house........
