Will Larter left this review about The Crooked Billet
As Alan said, a fairly large, modern pub, though looking at the nearby houses I would guess this development was built in the 1960s. It looks like the original building has been extended with a sort of conservatory - a glazed extension anyway. There's a solitary hand pump looking all forlorn, with a Marstons Pedigree pump clip applied slightly crookedly - perhaps appropriately? The beer was ok but nothing special (NBSS 2.5, £3.90/pint).
