Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Five Bells
Solid-looking building, being a 20th-century replacement for a much older pub of the same name, and set back from the road a bit. However, the opened-out J-shaped interior disappoints, but the issues don't end there. No real ale on the solitary handpump, and no real understanding from the disinterested staff behind the counter of the concept (given the suggested alternatives). Also has a split-level beer garden at the back, with the patio under a marquee, but the upper grassed area was inexplicably closed off. Made do with the keg Sharp's Atlantic (£4.30), but can't say I enjoyed my brief stop here one bit.

E TA left this review about New Bell Inn
A village pub in a splendid house which is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, yet is still open despite all the works, proof that you don't have to close a pub to renovate it. There is a small car park at the front, and there is a small garden with benches and tables at the back. The main bar has been formed by knocking through two smaller rooms, and a third room has been retained, although it's not clear what it will become. The floors are wooden, quite literally covered in sawdust at the moment, and I hope they aren't hidden by new flooring. Wires are hanging off the wall and ceiling, even the jukebox is just an empty shell, yet local customers are still in there enjoying each other's company and having a good time. The pub is dog friendly and there is a lively sports culture, with a number of trophies to show their teams' prowess. The only ale on was Doombar, which was OK but not the best I've had. The staff were welcoming, the locals very friendly and hospitable. I would like to come back here when the renovations are finished and, hopefully, the beer selection is better.
