Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Lady Of Mann
Just popped in for a swift one during a crawl, so didn't really have the chance to take much in. However, since it shares a courtyard with its sister pub Thomas Rigby's, comparisons are inevitable and my first reaction was that this comes off slightly worse. This view is reinforced by the limited beer selection from the two of three handpumps on that day, offering Okells Bitter (£1.45, half) and Brains SA Gold. Need to return for a proper visit.

Perhaps I was spoilt following my disatrous visit to the Saddle, but the Beer in here was the best of the day.

A 2011 Good Beer Guide pub with 2 real ales on. Okells and Wolf Straw Dog. Enjoyed the Wolf beer while chatting to the barman. Love following Old Boots on here as he gives brilliant descriptions so I don't need to repeat them.

Entered via a gateway between The Saddle and Rigbys this is in a building at the back of the shared yard or patio. The third of Okells Liverpool pubs, in comparison it sells a cut down range of Okell's Bitter plus a guest on each of two further pubs, although only Reverend James and the Okell's bitter were available on my last visit. There is also the choice of a few fine european keg and bottled beers, Carling making a rather limp appearance alongside them. As with the other two Okell's pubs the beer is always of good quality and well kept, staff friendly and attentive, I believe the staff are shared between here and Rigbys. Snack type food is available comprising bar snacks, pies, baguettes and cold meat platters. The single room is split into two sections by a large glass panelled structure surrounding the staircase down to the toilets. The front section has the bar, a TV and a few tables and chairs, the rear part more tables and chairs. The modern fad for exposed brickwork and bare floorboards is given full reign here.
