Ian Mapp left this review about Casa Bar

One of the 60 venues recommended by Paul Heaton to celebrate his 60th Birthday. I think the stories in the reviews below tell the reason why.

Despite the tables all having triangular Bass beer mats, there was no cask. Went for a Guinness, apt for St Patricks Day when the City knows how to throw a party.

Al Bundy left this review about Casa Bar

As noted below this place was set up by ex-dockers. Lots of badges and insignia of dock workers from around the world decorate the walls. Its a main open plan room with the bar to your left on entering and an area for seating to the right. A larger room is to the rear which is used to stage live entertainment. A cellar bar is also accessed via the staircase in the left hand corner of the front room. No real ale.

Old Boots left this review about Casa Bar

A bar set up by disposessed Liverpool dockers following a long strike in the 1990s. Décor with a revolutionary theme but pleasant enough. Only sells a wide range of keg beers but that includes the drinkable Staropramen and Hoegaarden. There's a big room at the back which had Salsa dancing going on when I called in here on my way between the Phily opposite and the Everyman just up the road.
