E TA left this review about The Globe
An airport bar tucked away discreetly on the ground floor of North Terminal's Departures (Landside). Apart from being an airport bar, the only real annoyance is the background music. No real ale on draft but there was Spitfire, Pride and Bombardier in bottles. Staff were polite and friendly even though they all struggled with their English. The food was what you would expect, slightly better than JDW and certainly a cut above most airport bars. Worth a quick meal before flying, but I'd not bother coming here if arriving in UK if there was an opportunity to move on.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Globe
Charmless airport bar offering no real ale, nothing interesting in bottled form and only 'smooth' Bass (£3.80) as an alternative to a limited choice of Eurofizz (despite the claims on its publicity material to offer "an extensive range of draught and bottled beers"). Thoroughly anonymous, and there are certainly better places airside.
