Old Boots left this review about Browns Leeds

Modern bar with formal dining at one end, possibly part of the adjacent Raddison hotel, it has the feel of an hotel bar. A nice Victorian style counter down the right hand side, the beer is confined to six dreary standard kegs repeated on two banks. I paid £3.50 for a half of latin lager, Wines and spirits aplenty, you could try a cocktail at £11 upwards. Initially Marie Celeste staffing on my mid week lunchtime visit. There is a choice of high or low seating.

Posh bar (for Leeds) tucked away next to the town hall. More of a wine bar so you won't find any decent ale here, but if wine is your tipple you can't go wrong. Somewhere to take a date. Parking right outside for the designated driver!
