Small and narrow place that fancies itself as a late night joint. A few bits of character inside, mainly the black painted ceiling beams and wood wall stems. The glitzy back-to-back seating hints more at the quasi speakeasy feel. Early 70s funk on the stereo which made for a pleasant change. One ale, Rebellion IPA, which left me £2.60 poorer for a half and was a bit thin and watery. Aimed at the tooting Henley set and best left to them.

A Tardis-like bar that serves Rebellion IPA as a token real ale (which I didn't notice until I'd been stung for a bottle of Peroni for £4). Radio 1 / Kiss FM music blared out during my visit as the only punter in (shame, I remember when Kiss used to be good). Obviously useless at 5pm on a Sunday, but probably amazing at 9pm on a Friday or Saturday if you're under 30.
