In my opinion, the best of the Donnington Tied Houses. In August 21, this was the first one of about 8 visited on the Donnington Way that had SBA on. Undoubtedly the pick of the three beers they run.
Friendly locals and landlady and an idyllic setting in the heart of a pretty village.

Naunton is a touristy Cotswold village that has managed to retain a fairly unreconstructed pub - gastro-pretentions have been largely avoided. As described by AW below, and with a quarter-size snooker table in the back room well patronised by youngsters.
Plenty of outdoor seating where we enjoyed passable Donnington BB in the gloaming. Covid regs largely observed.

The Black Horse is a nice looking pub built with cotswold stone in the small village of Naunton.
The main room was quite long and had a tiled floor, small tables and bench seating there was also a beamed ceiling, there was another small room at the back of the pub.
This pub is a Donnington tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Donnington BB and this was a nice drink the other beer was Donnington SBA.
I quite liked this pub.
