Graham Coombs left this review about Bosco Lounge Bar

Found myself nearby at the right time and lacking any excuse not to finally visit this place, so gave it a go. The ground floor of the small boutique hotel has been opened up as a separate "bar and cocktail lounge" with its own entrance. It is one long room, very much with a posh nightclub sort of feel, and with the front window areas partly separated off. It is quite dark, naturally, brightened by splashes of colourful lighting and mirrors. The floor is zigzag marble effect, the ceiling is metallic foil and the banquettes are red or blue faux leather, so it probably looks more expensive than it really is. Fake candlelights and loud, upbeat music complete the scene. There is also a covered area outside. The tile fronted bar, which has a few swivel stools for barflies, is clearly focussed on cocktails but does have two little sets of subtle keg taps, which you can just discern in the gloom as being Guinness and a Camden lager and bitter. The bar opens 5 to late, Weds to Sun, but more importantly has a "golden hour" from 5-9 when prices are almost bearable. I can think of few valid reasons for coming in here instead of the Spoons next door though.
