Will Larter left this review about Sheaf House

As the photos suggest, this is a really nice looking pub that is unfortunately surrounded by what can only be described as a car park. Inside, the internal walls have been removed and replace by RSJs, leaving a large space with the smart modern bar to the left upon entering. The walls have been painted in modern shade of pistachio, mushroom and off-white, and there's a garishly patterned carpet and similar upholstery on the bench seating. It's actually quite pleasant, though I wasn't keen on the radio that was playing quite loud.

On the bar, just the usual lager and nitro-keg fonts, but there is also a Greene King top-of the-bar hand pump with IPA available at only £1.80 a pint (though I think this was a special offer just for the Christmas period). I wouldn't have a problem with coming here again, but the place would definitely be improved with a decent real ale or two on the bar. Oh, and I would think twice about turning up on a match day when Sheffield United are at home.
