Will Larter left this review about Frank's Bar
The previous reviewer's thoughts about Frank's Bar very much reflect my own. Much more like a cafe than a bar, with table service and food, there is nevertheless a bar counter with two hand pumps. Coincidence or not, the beers available at the time of my visit were Adnams Ghost Ship and Grain Redwood. This was our lunch stop, and I think it unlikely we would have come in if we hadn't been after some food - it's not the sort of place to come just for a beer.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Frank's Bar
Compact café and bar, looking much more like the former until you peer through the windows and spot a couple of handpumps and a few keg taps. Just eight tables in the seating / dining area plus a few more in a back room and outside in the compact patio garden. The emphasis is on the food, and it runs on table service, but in mid-afternoon most customers were just having a drink. I went for a pint of Grain Redwood (£3.90), with Adnams Ghost Ship also available.
