Room 12 is a large open plan live music venue with a counter up the left and a stage on the right-hand wall. There’s minimal seating, most of which is high tables. Only premium keg was available, so having had lager, ale and cider during the day I thought it would be a good idea to tuck into a pint of Guinness, which was well served by the polite barmaid. This is a place to visit when there’s an event that interests rather than somewhere one would randomly walk off the street into.

We stayed in the accommodation above the Vestry a couple of nights ago, which was a very nice and really huge room at excellent value. However, this is a pub website, and as a pub this doesn't tick many of my boxes. There is no real ale and it's basically a late night music venue for youngsters.
