This is the Conservative Club, but non-members are welcome with no fee or signing in; holidaymakers can obtain holiday membership to qualify for a discount, but the beer I had was the equivalent of £4.15 a pint, and a guest beer from Skinners was on offer at £3. I swerved that and had a very good Doom Bar (NBSS 4). As a lifelong socialist, this was my first visit to a conservative club, but with beer of this quality I wouldn't mind calling in again if in Wadebridge.
