Bar with No Name, Northampton

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bar with No Name

Curious-looking '80s pub - once a Wetherspoons and later a nightclub, apparently - with large bow windows with a view across a car park to the ugly Carlsberg brewery. The interior features a split-level layout under a tall ceiling, with semi-modern furniture and an eclectic mix of decor (including one of those amusement arcade shove-ha'penny machines). Also has a pool table and a few patio tables out front. Two very disused handpumps, and when I asked for a half of the inevitable John Smith's I was told that it was only sold in pints, whereas all the other (equally dull) draught beers were available in the smaller measure - one of the oddest things I've ever heard on licensed premises!
